On-line event at which a number of papers were presented
Annual conference held in Seaford, and hosted by the Wealden Iron Research Group, and Jeremy Hodgkinson to outline the bloomery and
blast furnace activity that took place in the region. A demonstration smelt was carried out on the Sunday afternoon. There was also a coach trip to the Anne of Cleeves Museum in Lewes for the famous Every collection of Ironwork, Newbridge (the site of the earliest blast furnace in Britain) and Wadhurst ( iron grave slabs).
Held in Dunster on Exmoor.

AGM meeting held at Ironbridge. Included a two-day event with presentations and field trips on the Sunday.
Held at the Royal Armouries, Leeds. The meeting addressed research frameworks in archaeometallurgy. There was also an opportunity to visit behind the scenes in the conservation and scientific sections at the Royal Armouries.
Held in Solihull at the National Motor Cycle Museum.
